Columbus Speeding Ticket Attorney

A driver who is cited for speeding will usually be charged with a penalty of either two or four points. Most speeding violations are assessed at two points. Four-point violations include driving 30 mph or more over the limit in any zone. In very few instances, no points will be applied for speeding. These speeding instances include violations of driving less than 10 mph over the limit in an area where the limit is 55 mph or greater or being 5 mph or less over the limit in areas where the limit is under 55 mph. Multiple speeding violations or a speeding violation accompanied by other traffic violations can lead to hefty fines and penalties and even put you at risk of having your license suspended.
